Welcome to our 10th Newsletter.
The next anniversary event is in Hull on 28th July and there is an open invitation to attend a
Private Viewing of the exhibition Guernica Remakings - details below.
On our web site there are three reports on recent events, which are summarised below.
We hope to add more events from the end of August as soon as the details are known.
The exhibitions in Bilbao, Brighton and Salford still have a few weeks to run.
They're well worth a visit. See more information below.

NEXT EVENTS
Friday 28th July - BRIGHTON
University of Brighton Gallery, 58-67 Grand Parade, Brighton, BN2 0JY, 5:30pm – 9pm
Open invitation to the Private Viewing of the exhibition Guernica Remakings.
The exhibition, curated by Dr Nicola Ashmore, features works from across the globe that remake Picasso's original Guernica
for political protests and resonates with the original intention of the work –
"to push back at those in power who choose to act to the detriment of civilians."
28th July - HULL
Plaque unveiling and showing of 'The Guernica Children' - 34 Pearson Park,
Hull HU5 2TD, 2pm.
Unveiling of a plaque at the site of a home for refugee Basque children during the Spanish Civil War,
followed by a showing of the documentary 'The Guernica Children' and a talk by Manuel Moreno, BCA'37 UK
in the nearby Pearson Park bowling pavilion.

An exhibition exploring the ongoing power of Pablo Picasso's iconic painting Guernica (1937) through a display of contemporary reworkings.

Exhibition In Search of the Basque Children in Salford and Eccles - Ordsall Hall, 322 Ordsall Lane, Ordsall, Salford M5 3AN.

Invitación abierta a la Visita Privada de la exposición Guernica Remakings.
La exposición, comisariada por el Dr. Nicola Ashmore, cuenta con obras de todo el mundo que vuelven a ser Guernica original de Picasso
